Não há como salvar/atualizar/obter/ PGpoint diretamente, então você tem que criar seu próprio tipo de usuário para suportar PGpoint para convertê-lo, antes que isso seja salvo, UserType é uma classe de Hibernate que permite criar um tipo personalizado para convertê-lo antes de salvar no banco de dados.
