Rails 5.2 ActiveStorage com UUIDs no Postgresql

Depois de horas indo linha por linha no activestorage código-fonte , e executando os mesmos comandos

@message = Message.new(message_params)
@message.save

de novo e de novo. Obtivemos os mesmos resultados aleatórios repetidas vezes. Em seguida, percorremos os trilhos de logs impressos ao anexar a imagem à mensagem e observamos o seguinte:

record_id estava sendo definido como 534736 , em vez de um uuid. Aqui é onde erramos.

O armazenamento ativo esperava uma chave estrangeira inteira para nosso modelo de mensagem e, em vez disso, queríamos usar uuids. Então tivemos que corrigir nossa migração, para usar uuids em vez de chaves estrangeiras inteiras.
