A única maneira de fazer isso é alterando seu arquivo RDLC durante o tempo de execução. Basicamente, você pode carregar seu arquivo RLDC na memória (é apenas um arquivo XML), localizar o nó XML que contém a largura de sua tabela - e então modificar a configuração na memória. Depois de fazer isso, você pode atualizar seu controle reportViewer usando o arquivo RDLC carregado na memória.
E sim, eu já fiz isso, e funciona.
