Descubra se uma string contém apenas caracteres ASCII

Você pode usar TRANSLATE para fazer isso. Basicamente, translate todos os caracteres imprimíveis ASCII (não há muitos deles) e veja o que resta.

Aqui está uma consulta que faz isso:
