Eu pensei em postar o código que resolveu meu problema; ele baixa um arquivo csv de um site FTP externo para meu servidor local. Em seguida, ele importa o arquivo csv para minha tabela de banco de dados mysql local. Uma vez importado o arquivo no servidor ftp é deletado. Eu agendo este trabalho no cpanel com cronjob.
Não posso levar crédito pelo script, acabei de modificar um script encontrado em outro site. Tenho certeza de que existem maneiras melhores de fazer isso com alguma verificação de erros. No entanto, este é o melhor que eu poderia fazer com minhas habilidades limitadas.
