Não estou usando um DSN, pois estou usando um driver ODBC em oposição ao OLE DB. Ao fazer referência a um DSN, o código acima funciona com poucas alterações.

O DSN do sistema está configurado para usar o driver PostgreSQL Unicode. Optei por não usar OLE DB mesmo que haja um provedor disponível. Se você olhar para o PGFoundry, verá que ele tem muitos problemas e não é atualizado há vários anos.
