Quando você cria uma tabela de pesquisa no SQL Workshop, o APEX gera várias instruções DDL e DML para fazer o trabalho. Na última etapa do assistente, você poderá expandir a região SQL na parte inferior para ver o código. Infelizmente, não sai bem formatado, mas não é muito difícil de limpar.
Como teste, entrei e criei uma tabela de pesquisa na coluna JOB da tabela EMP. Aqui está o código que foi gerado. Eu o formatei e adicionei comentários para explicar as partes que você precisará e as que não serão necessárias.

Quanto à instrução insert que preenche a tabela de pesquisa, aqui está a versão modificada que você precisará:

Isso garantirá que apenas valores novos e exclusivos sejam adicionados à tabela de pesquisa.
